Blade Material

Tanzo Cutlery uses AEB-L which is a non-powder steel. It gets exceptionally sharp, with its origins starting as razor blade steel and is rarely found with production knives. AEB-L is a food safe stainless steel known for it’s ease in sharpening, toughness, edge stability which feels light in the hand while still achieving a high Rockwell Hardness at around 62 HRC. With the proper care and maintenance our knives will last generations.

Our Handles

Our cutlery handles are a unique feature of our knives because no two are the same. Every knife TANZO CUTLERY creates comes with a different handle that has been meticulously crafted to fit naturally in your hand. They are comfortable to use for any length of time while adding a small touch of elegance to any culinary experience.  

Sheaths

Each piece of cutlery comes with a handmade sheath to keep it protected when not in use. Designed with felt, matching brass snap closure, rivets, beautiful leather accents, and our bold yet subtle logo it’s sure to be a conversation piece easily showcased whether on your cutting board or counter top.
