The Kaizen Utility is a finely balanced everyday blade that pairs tool-grade performance with artisanal individuality. Built on a 6” AEB‑L blade with a flat V grind, Kaizen delivers a crisp, long‑lasting edge with excellent corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance. At 10.25” overall with a 1/8” spine the profile offers reassuring rigidity for controlled work without sacrificing nimbleness.


Each Kaizen is finished with a unique, hand‑worked handle — no two are the same. The contoured ergonomics invite confident handling for prep, precision cuts, and general utility tasks, while the distinctive materials and unmistakable finishing work make every knife a conversation piece and a collectible tool.


Every knife ships in a black handmade leather case with contrasting white stitching and a securing strap for safe transport and storage.

Care & use

  • Ideal for food prep, detailed slicing, and general utility work.
  • Hand wash, dry immediately. Do not use a scratch pad. Use a sponge or wash cloth only.
  • Hone regularly and resharpen with fine stones as needed to maintain the AEB‑L edge. Or use our free re-sharpening services.
  • Store in a wooden knife block, magnetic knife strip or in the supplied leather case when not in use.

Here’s how to create your custom knife:

  
1. Order Placement: Secure your spot by placing an order. You’ll receive a trackable sales order number and a receipt.

2. Initial Consultation: Within 72 hours, I will personally reach out to discuss your options and preferences at your convenience.

3. Custom Design: You can customize blade length, handle materials, colors, and pin styles.  See the provided images or view our past work in the gallery.

4. Crafting Time: Once we finalize your design, expect a lead time of 60-90 days for delivery.
