Welcome to Tanzo Cutlery - Your Custom Knife Awaits!

 

All custom knives are made with AEB-L high quality Swedish Stainless Steel with a blade thickness of 1/8 inch. Included with each knife is a handmade leather case with securing strap and lifetime resharpening to protect your investment.

The 8-inch blade is the global standard and the most widely used length for a chef’s knife, offering a perfect balance of versatility and control. However, for those who find an 8-inch blade cumbersome or unnatural, we recommend considering a 7-inch option, which provides a slightly more manageable size without sacrificing functionality.

For individuals with smaller cutting boards or size restricted prep areas, or those under 5’4”, the 6-inch blade length is an ideal choice and worth considering. This size ensures comfort and enhances precision, making it easier to handle and maneuver during food preparation.

1. Order Placement: Secure your spot by placing an order. You’ll receive a trackable sales order number and a receipt.

2. Initial Consultation: Within 72 hours, I will personally reach out to discuss your options and preferences at your convenience.

3. Custom Design: You can customize blade length, handle materials, colors, and pin styles.  See the provided images or view our past work in the gallery.

4. Crafting Time: Once we finalize your design, expect a lead time of 60-90 days for delivery.
