The Paragon, Handcrafted Chef's Knife

Built in Las Vegas by a single craftsman, start to finish.

Every Paragon is built to order and enters the production queue on a first-come, first-served basis. Your order secures your place.

The Paragon is the knife serious cooks reach for first. Ground from AEB-L stainless steel, one of the finest blade steels available, it delivers the edge retention, corrosion resistance, and precision geometry that separates a working knife from a display piece.

Every Paragon is made by one set of hands. No assembly line. No outsourced components. The blade is ground to a flat V geometry that excels at slicing, chopping, and detail work in equal measure. The handle is individually hand-finished and contoured for all-day use. No two are identical.

Lifetime Free Resharpening

Every Paragon comes with a lifetime free resharpening guarantee. When the edge needs attention, send it back and I will put a fresh edge on it at no charge. The handmade leather case included with every knife is built for exactly that purpose. It protects the blade in storage and in transit, and makes the return as simple as dropping it in a box.

How the Paragon is Built For You

When you place your order, you are not buying a knife off a shelf. You are reserving your place in the build queue with the craftsman who will be making your knife.

Within 72 hours Chris sends a personal email walking you through every decision — blade length, handle material, colors, mosaic pins or screws. This is not a form. It is a conversation with the person building your knife.

Your knife enters production once your selected materials arrive at the workshop. From that point, most builds are completed and shipped within 3 to 4 weeks. Total time from order to delivery is typically 4 to 6 weeks.

What Happens After You Order

  3. You reply with selections or ask questions — directly to the maker
  4. Build begins once your materials arrive at the workshop
  5. Most builds complete and ship within 3 to 4 weeks of materials arriving — total delivery typically 4 to 6 weeks from order
  6. Chris's personal email and phone number provided after purchase — reachable throughout your build
  7. Edge needs attention down the road? Send it back. The resharpening is on me.
