Our restoration service renews vintage and well-loved knives cleaning, re-profiling chipped blades, stabilizing handles, and re-finishing blades, as well as expert sharpening transforming your vintage blades back into beautiful usable kitchen tools.
RESTORATION OPTIONS
Sharpening: $25 per blade
Reshaping Broken Tips & Chipped Blades: $70
(includes sharpening)
Surface Oxidation / Rust Removal: $115
(includes sharpening and tip / edge repair)
Full Restoration (handle recondition): $150
(includes sharpening, tip / edge repair, and oxidation / rust removal)
Full Restoration (handle replacement): $250
(includes sharpening, tip / edge repair, and oxidation / rust removal)
The original handle will be removed and Tanzo Cutlery will replace it with something similar. The handle will be new and hand shaped. It WILL NOT be an exact duplicate.
*All knives will be fully inspected before any work begins.
If Tanzo Cutlery deems any knife unsalvageable you will receive a full refund and your blade/s will be returned.
